Three to Get Ready

Well I had hoped three trips would do it but it appears I have gained far too many clothes so there will be more trips to St Vinnies. Maybe I can get rid of enough for it all to fit before I go back.

One good thing about all of this is that I have come to appreciate my life in a small town much better. I can walk to many places here: post office, pharmacy, grocery store, and restaurants, even the farmers market is just a few blocks away and in that park is a vendor most of the days of summer with fresh produce.

Now all I need is work. First I am selling all the excess that is around me after dispensing with the more trivial items. I also will get into my volunteer work again.

Two down

Two loads done and a trip to St Vincent de Paul with three bags of clothes that don't fit. I also have some things here that can be donated. Time to pack some more for the next load to take home.

The weather has been giving me fits and sure has not been comfortable: rain, snow, sleet, and hail not to mention high winds and threats of tornados. Is this spring? Sometimes it's hard to tell but the temperature keeps climbing back up and the snow and ice melt. Maybe I can take the plants home soon.

How important is a blog?

Do you have a blog? This article categorizes why blogs are far more important than Facebook pages. To me these are separate entities and never to be confused. What do you think?

Do You Need Sales Skills?

Great Selling Skills Are Not Just For Used Car Salesman

http://moneyning.com/money-tips/great-selling-skills-are-not-just-for-used-car-salesman/

Someone once told me "In every conversation someone is buying and someone is selling" so which side of that equation do YOU want to be on? This article illustrates those basic principles and urges you to practice your sales skills.

This one says Opportunities are everywhere http://moneyning.com/business-idea/opportunities-are-everywhere-so-dont-worry/

The real trick is identifying or in some cases creating those opportunities. Like they say "Improvement is a Journey."

What Next

One van load home and how many to go? The amount of stuff I brought up here is frightening. I think a trip to Goodwill at both houses is a plan. At least the weather is warmer.
