Catching Up with Myself
I haven't been here is a long time. Life has gotten too busy. Between a new job that includes business travel, a local arts and craft show where I showed jewelry, and a visit by the kids my time is consumed with very little left for me.
As it is I am stealing this time to write before 6 am when I should be working my scheduler for the month before hitting the highway. But at least I have laundry working. The weather is promoting water consumption with more baths and laundry in my house.
Its been brutally hot with temperatures stretching over the 100 degree mark. Not what one expects in June or even July here. The grass looks like it's August with a long hot summer behind it when July has barely begun. The fireworks were cancelled in many places and in Beloit (where the had them) they had grass fires. Waukesha and Oak Creek halted their fireworks after fires started there.
