Synopsis

Let's see . . . since I last posted June and July just flew: I visited with my sister and her family for a long weekend, went to Summerfest with friends for $2 Tuesday (happened to be the day Buddy Guy was playing), then had my son and daughter in law at my house for a week, and jumped through all the official hoops, but I can't make it into school for fall since all the Technology classes are full (with waiting lists for every section).

BTW last year those same classes were NOT full, but the joblessness of the area has filled them prior to my application. I had my annual visit from my uncle. I also tried catching up with some friends (one is dying and one is moving across the country).

After losing my job I started corresponding with someone online and we finally made it out for lunch together. What a nice guy! We just have to see when we can get together again.

Today I'm having a friend out for a long weekend, next weekend she and I are going to a blues festival for which we scored free tickets, and then going to visit my friend who is moving at the end of the month. In the meantime, I either need a job or to get my website up and paying me. Going to pursue both with new vigor. I did get another webinar in there somehow. The school thing is a dead issue till January although I will pursue the funding to make sure that is in place.

It's way late, but I just was paying bills online and catching up with email. I have been using both Papebackswap.com and the local library to fill my music, audiobook, and reading habits. Both can be expedited online with ease. I often listen to audiobooks or music while I am online. Currently I'm listening to Ann of Green Gables and I just finished Snowball (the biography of Warren Buffett). I need a few fun ones now since that one was 30 Cd's full of information.

Delving into the masses of books I own is worth it, for those gems set aside for later. Someday I will get all pared down. I know it gets better all the time but it's taking sooo long. Ebay needs me to kick it up a gear too! Time for those back to school shoppers to start. Then its full speed into the holidays!
